Balochistan Home Minister Reviews Security Situation in High-Level Quetta Meeting
QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove chaired a high-level meeting in Quetta to review the province's overall law and order situation and discuss measures aimed at strengthening security and public safety.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Hamza Shafqat, senior officials of the Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), and representatives of other law enforcement agencies.
Participants received a detailed briefing on the prevailing security situation across Balochistan, including recent incidents of unrest and ongoing counterterrorism efforts. Officials also presented a special update on the investigation into the Chaman Railway Crossing blast.
During the meeting, several important decisions were taken to enhance security arrangements and improve coordination among law enforcement agencies.
Addressing the participants, Home Minister Langove emphasized that ensuring the safety of citizens and protecting their lives and property remains the provincial government's top priority.
He reiterated the government's commitment to utilizing all available resources to maintain peace, stability, and law and order throughout Balochistan.
