QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the tragic incident in Wahdat Colony, Quetta, where a man allegedly killed his wife and four young children.
Describing the incident as heartbreaking and deeply disturbing, the Home Minister said the loss of innocent lives has saddened the entire nation. He also extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.
Mir Ziaullah Langau has sought a detailed report on the incident from the Inspector General of Police Balochistan and the Commissioner Quetta Division, directing them to submit a comprehensive report within 24 hours outlining the circumstances, facts, and preliminary findings of the investigation.
He instructed the relevant authorities to conduct a transparent, impartial, and thorough investigation from every possible angle to establish the facts and ensure that those responsible are dealt with according to the law.
The Home Minister emphasized that no negligence, carelessness, or lapse in the investigation process will be tolerated and directed all concerned institutions to carry out their responsibilities with professionalism and integrity.
Mir Ziaullah Langau stated that the Government of Balochistan considers the protection of citizens' lives and property among its highest priorities and will take all necessary measures to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to bringing those responsible to justice and ensuring that the affected family receives justice.
