Quetta, Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani said the upcoming Balochistan budget is being designed with a strong focus on health, education, communication, and irrigation sectors to ensure public welfare and long-term economic stability.
Speaking in a television interview, he said coalition partners are working in close coordination to implement development projects across the province despite limited financial resources.
He emphasized that the government remains committed to improving public service delivery and promoting economic growth through targeted development initiatives.
Umrani highlighted that a modern hospital is under construction in Dera Murad Jamali, which will be equipped with advanced healthcare facilities, including liver transplant services, marking a major step forward in the province’s medical infrastructure.
He further noted the importance of the Rs62 billion Pat Feeder Canal project, which is expected to significantly enhance irrigation capacity and boost agricultural productivity in Balochistan.
The minister reiterated that the provincial government’s priority is to ensure that development projects directly benefit the public and contribute to sustainable economic progress.
