QUETTA: The Balochistan government has relaxed lockdown restrictions ahead of Eidul Azha and allowed business centres across the province to continue normal operations until June 1.
According to a statement issued by the Balochistan Home Department, shops, markets, shopping malls, restaurants, and hotels have been exempted from the earlier restriction requiring businesses to close by 8pm.
The decision is expected to provide relief to traders and facilitate shopping activity before Eidul Azha.
However, the Home Department clarified that lockdown measures and other precautionary restrictions would remain in place for certain institutions and sectors.
Authorities said the decision was taken to balance public convenience and economic activity while maintaining necessary safety measures.
