Balochistan: 3 Killed, 5 Injured as Gunmen Open Fire on Vehicle in Panjgur

Deadly Attack Reported in Gwargo Area; Security Forces Cordone Off the Region for Investigation

QUETTA / PANJGUR: At least three people were killed and five others sustained critical injuries after unidentified armed men opened fire on a vehicle in the Panjgur district of Balochistan.

According to official and local sources, the violent incident occurred in the Gwargo area of Panjgur. Armed assailants ambushed a passing vehicle, opening indiscriminate fire before fleeing the scene. Three passengers died on the spot, while five others suffered multiple bullet wounds.

Security Forces Launch Search Operation

Following the attack, a heavy contingent of security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site. The casualties and injured individuals were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility, where the wounded are currently receiving emergency treatment.

Security forces have cordoned off the entire perimeter, establishing strict checkpoints at all entry and exit points of the district. A high-alert search operation has been launched to track down the perpetrators. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, and further investigation is underway.
