Total Number of Foreign Terrorists Killed Since July 5 Reaches 117; Hideouts Destroyed, Heavy Weapons and Ammunition Recovered

Rawalpindi/Quetta (Web Desk): The joint Operation Shaban by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), and police in Balochistan has further intensified against militants of Fitna al-Khawarij. According to security sources, 3 more foreign terrorists were killed in recent successful operations, taking the number of militants killed during Operation Shaban alone to 79, while the total number of militants killed in all intelligence-based operations (IBOs) since July 5 has reached 117.

Security sources stated that due to effective ground and aerial operations by the forces, terrorists have been forced to abandon their hideouts and flee.

Aerial and Ground Operations, Weapons Recovered

Security forces are targeting militant hideouts through modern weapons, ground operations, and aerial strikes.

  • Destruction of Hideouts: Several important militant positions and secret shelters have been completely destroyed during successful operations.
  • Recovery of Weapons and Ammunition: A large quantity of modern automatic weapons, ammunition, and other military equipment has been recovered from killed and fleeing militants.

Resolve to Continue Operations Until Elimination of Last Terrorist

The coordinated security operation was launched on July 5, 2026, following terrorist attacks on the Mangi Dam checkpoint and other locations.

Security officials reiterated their commitment, stating that:

  • Pakistan Army, FC, and police personnel are actively working on the front lines to establish lasting peace in the province.
  • Operation Shaban will continue with full intensity until the complete elimination of the last foreign terrorist from Balochistan.
