21 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan: Acting President and Sindh CM Pay Tribute to Security Forces
Islamabad/Karachi — Acting President of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah have paid rich tribute to the security forces for their timely, courageous and decisive operations in Balochistan’s Chagai and Pishin districts.
Both leaders appreciated the professional capabilities of the security forces for killing 21 foreign-backed terrorists and reaffirmed that the state’s resolve to completely eliminate terrorism remains unwavering.
Security Forces Ensured Protection of National Highway and Key Installations: Yousaf Raza Gilani
Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said the security forces foiled the terrorists’ nefarious designs through a timely counter-operation and ensured the protection of the public and vital communication routes.
Implementation of Azm-e-Istehkam: The Acting President emphasized that indiscriminate operations would continue under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, in line with the National Action Plan.
Unforgettable sacrifices of martyrs: Paying tribute to the six brave personnel, including a Customs official, who embraced martyrdom during the operations, he said the nation would never forget the sacrifices of its heroes.
No Room for Foreign-Backed Terrorism: Murad Ali Shah
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said the invaluable sacrifices of the security forces remain a guarantee of peace and stability in the country.
National unity: He said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.
Complete elimination of terrorism: The Sindh chief minister reaffirmed the commitment to completely eliminate terrorist elements and their foreign facilitators from the country.

The leaders prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyred personnel and for patience and strength for their bereaved families. They also reaffirmed that the nation would never bow before elements seeking to undermine Pakistan’s peace and security.
