15 Terrorists Killed in Ziarat Operation, Says Babar Yousafzai

Quetta — Security forces and law enforcement agencies have eliminated 15 terrorists during an intelligence-based clearance operation in Balochistan's Ziarat district, according to Babar Yousafzai, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Home Affairs.

During a press briefing, Yousafzai stated that nine personnel from the Pakistan Army and Balochistan Police were killed in the operation while fighting militants. He added that intelligence-based operations against terrorist networks would continue across the province.

Security Forces Target Terrorist Network

According to Babar Yousafzai, the operation significantly disrupted the militants' command-and-control structure.

He said the government remains committed to maintaining the writ of the state and ensuring public safety, adding that counterterrorism operations will continue against militant groups and their support networks as part of ongoing security efforts in Balochistan.
