Karachi (Showbiz Desk) Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has strongly condemned the acid attack on a female doctor in Quetta, describing it as an extremely brutal and intolerable act.
Expressing her reaction through social media, Mahira Khan said that a woman who was performing her duty of saving lives became the target of an attack that is horrifying even to imagine. According to her, the attack on Dr. Mah Noor Nasir inside a hospital is a deeply tragic and inhumane incident.
The actress said that she feels both profound sadness and anger over the news. She stated that every woman has the right to work in safety and dignity, while the attacker committed a crime whose consequences could have a lasting impact on the doctor's life.
Mahira Khan also called upon all segments of society, especially men and women, to unite in raising their voices against such incidents and to condemn every form of violence.
It may be recalled that in this incident at a government hospital in Quetta, a female doctor became the victim of an acid attack and sustained serious injuries.
