The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC)’s timely and effective intervention has further strengthened the confidence of foreign investors in Pakistan, with Chinese company Hunan Resources resuming operations at its industrial facility in Dhabeji after seven months.

The industrial plant operated by Hunan Resources in Dhabeji had remained closed since February 2026, resulting in significant financial losses for the company.

Recognizing the seriousness of the matter, SIFC promptly coordinated with the relevant authorities and helped remove administrative hurdles, resolving the longstanding issue and paving the way for the facility to resume operations.

The management of the Chinese company appreciated SIFC’s prompt and comprehensive support in restoring the industrial facility and resolving the challenges it faced, and expressed gratitude to the council.
