Field Marshal Asim Munir Holds High-Level Meeting in Riyadh

Riyadh — A high-level meeting was held with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Commander of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, during which matters concerning collective defence and the regional security situation were discussed in detail.

During the meeting, the outcomes of the meeting of the Chiefs of Staff of the countries party to the Makkah Mutual Defence Pact were appreciated.

The participants expressed deep concern over and strongly condemned what were described as criminal attacks targeting Makkah and Saudi Arabia’s civilian and economic infrastructure.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continuing mutual efforts and cooperation under the Makkah Mutual Defence Pact to counter such attacks and address emerging security challenges.
