Dera Bugti — A terrorist attack on the residence of District Council Chairman Wadera Ghulam Nabi Shambani in the Beah Loti area of Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district was foiled. Thirteen terrorists were killed during an intense exchange of fire and subsequent pursuit.

According to tribal sources, terrorists targeted the residence of Wadera Ghulam Nabi Shambani, a close associate of the Balochistan Chief Minister, in the Shaheed Fazal Khan Sub-Division. Upon receiving information about the attack, the Bugti Peace Force, led by Wadera Hidayat Shambani, launched an immediate response and surrounded the attackers. The exchange of fire, which began last night, continued until early morning.

Sources said the terrorists attempted to flee following the force’s strong response. However, security personnel pursued them and killed 13 attackers. One member of the Bugti Peace Force was martyred in the clash, while three others were injured and immediately shifted to Karachi for medical treatment.

According to tribal sources, the timely and courageous response by the force thwarted what they described as a major terrorist plot.
