Dera Bugti: 36 Development Projects Completed Under BSDI, Five Near Completion

Dera Bugti: A total of 41 development projects have been approved in Dera Bugti district under Phase I and Phase II of the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI). Of these, 36 have been completed, while the remaining five are in the final stages of completion.

The projects, launched to improve public welfare, basic facilities and infrastructure, have an estimated total cost of Rs766.31 million.

Designed in accordance with the priorities and basic needs of the local population, the projects have been closely monitored by the District Coordination Committee, which has played a key role in ensuring transparent oversight. The committee includes representatives of the civil administration, Frontier Corps Balochistan (North) and elected public representatives.

According to officials, the operationalization of these projects is providing direct facilities to local residents and laying the foundation for sustainable development, prosperity and a significant improvement in the quality of life in Dera Bugti.
