Balochistan Home Minister Reviews Independence Day Preparations and Security in Quetta
Quetta (Web Desk): Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau visited various parts of Quetta to review preparations for Independence Day celebrations and assess security arrangements for citizens and public property ahead of August 14.
He was accompanied by Special Assistant to the Home Department Babar Yousafzai. During the visit, they inspected key locations and roads, including Assembly Chowk and Alamdar Road.
Green and White Flags Distributed Among Citizens and Children
During the visit, Mir Ziaullah Langau and Babar Yousafzai interacted with citizens, particularly children and young people, and distributed Pakistani flags and Independence Day badges among them.
Security agencies were directed to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of citizens during August 14 celebrations and public gatherings.
Security and Citywide Preparations
Authorities have made comprehensive arrangements across Quetta ahead of Independence Day.
- Security Plan: Strict and effective security measures have been implemented in view of Independence Day events and public gatherings.
- City Decoration: Government buildings, intersections, markets, and major roads have been decorated with national flags and illuminated displays.
- Public Enthusiasm: Citizens, particularly children and young people, are actively participating in preparations for Independence Day celebrations across the city.

Speaking to the media at Alamdar Road and Assembly Chowk, Mir Ziaullah Langau said that Independence Day is being celebrated across Balochistan with traditional national spirit and enthusiasm.
"Living nations celebrate their Independence Day with enthusiasm and dignity. We will celebrate the freedom of our homeland with national unity and spirit."
Babar Yousafzai added that people across Balochistan are highly enthusiastic about the historic occasion and assured that the provincial government is taking all necessary measures to provide a peaceful environment for the public.
