Arrested Protesters Accused of Involvement in Violent Demonstrations Admit Guilt
Islamabad (Staff Reporter): Individuals arrested on allegations of involvement in recent violent protests and unrest have reportedly admitted their wrongdoing and expressed deep regret, urging ordinary citizens to stay away from protest politics.
The arrested suspects appealed to the public to remain peaceful and avoid participating in violent activities. They said they had acted recklessly by taking the law into their own hands and were now facing serious legal consequences. According to the suspects, no one had visited them after their arrest or come forward to provide legal assistance or help secure their release.
The protesters accused political leaders of deceiving them, claiming that the leaders had provoked workers and brought them onto the streets but abandoned them when difficulties arose. They said the registration of cases under serious legal provisions had put their futures at risk. They urged citizens not to be misled by anyone, to remain at home and to completely avoid violent politics.
